Bohle GlassBuddy® PLUS Measuring Device

GlassBuddy® Plus is a multi-functional tool for the accurate analysis of flat glass. Regardless of whether monolithic glass, laminated glass or 1-gap or 2-gap insulating glass is analysed in seconds GlassBuddy® Plus supplies information about glass thickness, configuration of panes, coatings, intermediate layers and their exact position. Depending on the gap between panes, GlassBuddy® Plus is suitable for analysing a compound of max. 100 mm.

Measuring

• Monolithic glass with a thickness between 2.6 mm and 19 mm 
• Analysing laminated glass and multi-laminated glass 
  
• 1-gap and 2-gap insulating glass 
• Recognition of up to 3 coatings and determination of their position
  
• Recognition of PVB films (up to a max. of 8 films per compound), indication of their thickness and position 
• Measuring glass compounds of up to 100 mm (depending on the gap between panes) 
• Recognises fire protection glass
• Accuracy: 0.1 mm 
• Graphic display - Storage of up to 250 measuring results 
• Battery life of up to 8 hours in the event of continuous operation

The following glass types cannot be measured or only to a limited extent:

• Satin-finished
• Sandblasted glass
• Laminated glass with matt or strongly coloured films
• Glass with interference coating and highly reflective glass.
